Who is Inti?
Inti Martínez-Alemán is a third-gen lawyer and fourth-gen businessowner. His paternal grandfather was the renowned lawyer and notary José Marcos Martínez Rodríguez of San Miguel, El Salvador. His mother was the famous Honduran lawyer and notary Judith Alemán Banegas, a native of Tocoa, Colón yet based in Tegucigalpa. In short, being a lawyer runs in Inti’s blood — six decades of professional legal services in the family.
Inti is bilingual and has been practicing law since 2008. He is a Honduran residing in St. Paul, Minnesota, with offices in this city, and in Buffalo, New York. In May 2016, he graduated from Mitchell Hamline School of Law (before: Hamline University School of Law) with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree, after receiving a full scholarship for his studies.
Prior to studying law in the US, Inti obtained his first law degree (abogado) from the Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana (UNITEC) in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. There he practiced law for 5 years representing clients in cases of national impact and coverage. Inti was also the Legal Counsel for the Chief of Staff to the President of Honduras.
In 2007, Inti got his undergraduate degree (B.A.) in Political Science and Philosophy from Houghton College in Houghton, New York.
With license to practice law in the state of Minnesota, in 2016 Inti launched Ceiba Fôrte Law Firm®. In 2017, Inti obtained his license to practice law in the state of New York.
In 2019, Inti was added to the R114 Qualified Neutral roster of the Minnesota Supreme Court. Now, besides representation in litigation, Inti offers mediation services — even in Spanish.
